These images feed my artistic practice, by inspiring me to capture the emotion and passion
of the courageous acts. Printing and drawing artwork that references these acts of dissent betrays
my interest in preserving these historical moments in the contemporary sociopolitical climate
where they would be forgotten or replaced by another issue quite quickly.
